Western Iran, the area best known for the Persian capitals of Susa and Persepolis, but also the Prehistoric kingdoms of Elam and Urartu has a rich and colourful archaeological heritage with impressive soapstone sculptures, early cities and rich funerals as we well as some impressive water management systems. This course will present an introduction to the evidence.<\/p>\n
