Situated half way between Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales, the Isle of Man always was both unique and a meeting place of different cultures. A kingdom of its own in the Viking period and through most of the middle Ages,\u00a0 a distinct Iron Age and Bronze age culture, it features a lot of sites and finds that deserve more attention than they usually get.<\/p>\n

This dayschool is going to look at the evidence and provide an introduction into the archaeology and history of the Island.<\/p>\n
