It follows <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/books\/wolf-hall\">Wolf Hall<\/a><\/em> (2009), which charted Cromwell\u2019s rise to greatness, and <em>Bring Up the Bodies<\/em> (2012), covering the machinations that led to Boleyn\u2019s beheading. Both novels won the Booker prize and have sold a combined 1.5m copies, making the third one of the most anticipated novels of the decade.
