Amor and Psyche is the longest and for many the most romantic of the stories told in Apuleius’ Golden Ass. A story of love found and then lost, it has a very strong female character, some very evocative Latin prose and some truly funny observations on the behaviour of young women.<\/p>\n

If you intend to study the Golden Ass through Latin, please ensure that your Latin is good enough. It certainly would be useful if you had a English-Latin dictionary. This can, however, be found\u00a0online<\/a>\u00a0. The Latin text can be found here:\u00a0https:\/\/www.thelatinlibrary.com\/apuleius.html.\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
