A story of love found and then lost, it has a very strong female character, some very evocative Latin prose and some truly lively descriptions on the behaviour of Roman women amongst themselves.<\/p>\n<p>The second part of the story describes the travels and trials of Psyche to find her lost husband and their eventual happy reunion.<\/p>\n<p>If you intend to study the Golden Ass through Latin, please ensure that your Latin is good enough. It certainly would be useful if you had a English-Latin dictionary. This can, however, be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.online-latin-dictionary.com\/\">online<\/a>\u00a0.
