The passage of the years still leaves many questions about this gift unanswered.<\/p>\n<p>How did this very disparate collection come together? Were they ever played for their dedicatee? What was Bach keen to demonstrate? Why has their influence lasted for three hundred years? \u00a0We shall investigate these issues, and more besides, in the context of a detailed look at all six concertos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 1: Thursday\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 February 17th\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Time: 10am \u2013 12.30 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Background and Concertos 1 and 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2: Thursday February 24th\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Time: 10am \u2013 12.30 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Concertos 3 to 6 and the legacy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each morning will consist of two one-hour lecture\/discussions delivered via Zoom.
