But beyond this is a much larger system of healers and knowledge that operated throughout the Empire, often away from impressive archaeological remains that offered treatments with salves, herbs and often dietary advice to help with everyday ailments.<\/p>\n<p>This course will look at what we know about these healers and their crafts both through ancient sources and archaeology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 18.0pt; vertical-align: baseline;\"><span style=\"color: #2b2b2b;\">Please note all lectures will be recorded and distributed to the participants at the beginning of the next week.
