His conquests in Italy, Africa and Spain had massive consequences for those provinces, not always in a good way.<\/p>\n<p>But one of the most unusual results of his reign is Prokopius\u2019 list of Justinian\u2019s Buildings, which included churches like Hagia Sophia, towns like Justiniania Prima, but also fortresses.
