READING LATIN: Ovid\u2019s Epistulae ex Ponto<\/strong><\/p>\n The poetry that Ovid wrote after being sent to Tomis is a fascinating collection between personal insights, descriptions of Tomis and his life there . The latest poems of the epistulae are written as a series of Letters to his friends and family. We are going to continue our study of these poems, focusing on examples\u00a0 of the Ex Ponto letters from Book 4.<\/p>\n Newcomers are always welcome<\/strong>\u00a0but should ensure that they are familiar with Latin Grammar and vocabulary at roughly A-level or beyond.
