At the edge of, or rather on an island in the Fenland of Eastern England, stands one of the largest and most impressive Cathedrals of Britain, but the town that supports it is tiny.
\nHow did such a Cathedral develop here, where did the wealth come from and how was it maintained through the Middle Ages? In this dayschool. We will look at the history of the town of Ely and its Cathedral from Hereward the Wake to Oliver Cromwell<\/p>\n
