The last ten years have seen a lot of research and excavations on Hadrian’s Wall and its fort. From the new research at Vindolanda to the discoveries of late Roman markets in the forts at Newcastle and elsewhere to the ever-increasing evidence for the continued use into the Northumbrian period. This day will look at what is new and how it has changed how we think Hadrian’s Wall operated and survived.
Day: Saturday, 13th March 2021 Time: 11-13.00pm and 14.00-16.00
