This year is the 1900th anniversary of the building of Hadrian’s Wall and very much an occasion to celebrate. But how unique was Hadrian’s Wall? What did Hadrian leave in other provinces such as Dacia and Moesia or Roman Germany?
This dayschool will discuss Hadrian’s other frontier projects and why they differ so much from Hadrian’s Wall.
