We continue a study of the Book of Isaiah that will cover the three terms in 2025. This section contains the usual diverse material with very different interpretations given by competing scholars. It contains two supposed sections of apocalyptic material in chapters 24-27 and 34-35 often thought to be late compositions. The material in chapters 28-33 relates more closely to the ministry of Isaiah in the 8th century. Finally chapters 36-39 tell of events around the siege of Jerusalem in 701BC that seem to be taken from the account in 2 Kings.
Each session covers 2-3 chapters of this intriguing work
