Description

Temples are probably the most easily recognized Roman building type.  A staircase, leading up to columns, a triangular pediment and the shrine behind it. But how standardized are these buildings really, are there other forms of temples and what can they tell us about the cult they housed and their followers?This course will look at temples from all over the empire and explore the differences and similarities.
