Novel Discussion Group Autumn 2021 – Spring 2022

Creina Mansfield

Having indulged in some frivolous reading lately, we’re now getting serious. There’s one classic novel on the list; the others are recent publications.

We meet via Zoom once a month, on Saturday mornings, between 10.30 and 12.30. The format is open, with participants expressing their views about all aspects of the novels.

  • Saturday October 30th Where the Crawdads Sing (2018) by Delia Owens
  • Saturday November 27th American Dirt (2020)  by Jeanine Cummins
  • Saturday December 18th The Sea of Poppies (2008) by Amitav Ghosh
  • Saturday January 15th 2022 Shuggie Bain (2020) by Douglas Stuart
  • Saturday February 12th The War of the Worlds (1898) by H.G Wells
