Building on the current British Museum Exhibition on Assurbanipal, this dayschool will explore the complex role of Cyprus during this period. An island of city states, it was famous for his sanctuaries and for its wealth. If you wanted it, you could possibly get it in Cyprus at the time, making it the envy but also the trading partner of its neighbouring empires.
