Henry the Navigator’s monument at Belem near Lisbon encapsulates the romantic story of the seafarer prince who created with his students the Portuguese Golden Age. But what do we know about Portugal at this point in history and who was this Dom Enrique really?  The dayschool is going to look at the history and architectural and archaeology of Portugal in the early 15th century.

Dayschool: Saturday, 10th July 2021               Time: 11.00– 16.00 BST
