The portrait of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel is a favourite of many people. The famous Nativity stories, the plethora of women characters, the Lucan parables of the Prodigal Son and Good Samaritan are all features of this Gospel. This course explores the text of Luke in detail to try to understand what Luke’s particular agenda was, and how he set about writing another Gospel account.
