Birgitta Hoffmann
Livy’s Ab Urbe Condita describes the events and places of the early history of Rome. A lot of these spaces are identifiable in the context of Augustan Rome. Modern archaeology, however, has discovered a very different history of early Rome, both older and more complex than Livy describes. Join us for a day of exploring the archaeology and myths of early Rome.
