Reading John’s Gospel

Michael Tunnicliffe

The portrait of Jesus in John’s Gospel is a favourite of many people. Yet some others find it puzzling. The stories about Jesus are often not found in the first three Gospels and the way Jesus talks is entirely different. How should we explain the origin of this work, supposedly by the eyewitness “Beloved Disciple”? How does it relate to the other books associated with the name of John in the New Testament? Each week we will cover two chapters in detail

Please, bring a bible
