2 May – Roman Cities: Autun and Mont Beuvray: From Celtic oppidum to the new town of Augustus to the centre of Learning in the North

9 May – Recording your world – The shop signs and gravestones of Roman shopkeepers

16 May – Roman Cities – Carnuntum – the Northern capital

23 May – Protecting the Emperor – the imperial guards at the end of the second century

30 May – Roman Cities – Lyon – the ‘holy’ city of Gaul or centre of politics and trade

6th June – When the trade routes move – Trading with the Baltic in the late second century – what happened when the Amber Route switched from Carnuntum to Cologne.

The lectures can be attended individually or as a complete course.
